We hope that all members of JNVV FB community know about our annual alumni meet that happens in Dec and the scholarship programme that we run to motivate the current lot at our alma mater. Let me take the opportunity to explain more about this scholarship through the points below.


1. This scholarship is run by Ex student of JNV Vaishali represented by all batches passed out since 1996

2. Scholarship has been instituted in the memory of Late Rajesh Kumar, the 1st student of JNV Vaishali who passed away fighting cancer in 2004

3. Scholarship is given to current meritorious students of JNV Vaishali

4. Students selected for this sponsorship are given a cash reward of Rs 5000/- and a certificate each

5. Scholarship is given for stellar performance in the field of Academics, Sports, Art & Music and other co-curricular activities

6. Selection of candidates for scholarship is done by a panel of teachers. Those who make the school proud at national level are chosen for this

7. In the year 2012 ( During alumni meet ) 5 students were rewarded ~
- Academic ( 04 ) - Science Topper (+2) , Arts Topper (+2) ,
- Sports (01) - For representing school at National meet and won the prize for school .

In the year 2013 (During alumni meet on Dec1) 7 students were rewarded~
- Academic ( 04 ) - Science Topper (+2) , Arts Topper (+2) ,
- Culture Activity (01 ) � For winning at "15th National Youth Parliament Competition"
- Sports (02) - For representing school at National level in Basket ball and Handball.

8. Scholarship programme is funded by ex student of JNV Vaishali. We had set a target to accumulate over 2 lacs last year and sustain the annual scholarship through interest earned on the same.

9. The fund is currently being managed by Mr Dharmendra Kumar (2nd batch). We must applaud him for the great job that he is doing for the noble cause. we are planning to have trust in the name of Rajesh so that trust will have own bank account.

in the loving memory of Rajesh .
